Rubicon installs largest in-line undershot project in company’s 25+ year history
The Rubicon project team in Australia have been working diligently to achieve a company milestone for our global product installation footprint.
In October 2023, a total of six in-line SlipMeters were installed at the Roaches Surge Reservoir in Murrumbidgee, New South Wales. This accomplishment represents a significant step forward for Rubicon as it marks the largest number of in-line SlipMeters ever installed.
These integrated gates and meters will play a crucial role in maintaining precise control over water flow at the primary canal inlet to the reservoir. The gates are designed to handle a combined flow rate of up to 1,000ML/d (408cfs).
The surge reservoir project is expected to be completed in early 2024, already making substantial progress, as evidenced by the images and video below. More updates will follow as the team continues to deliver on this project milestone.
