We are thrilled to share a considerable achievement from Kazakhstan – our integrated undershot gate and meter product, the SlipMeter, has officially earned certification from the “KAZAKHSTAN INSTITUTE OF STANDARDIZATION AND METROLOGY.” This recognition marks a significant milestone for Rubicon in Central Asia, opening up new avenues and opportunities in the Kazakh market.
The certification process involved rigorous experimental studies conducted by the Institute, focusing on approving the ultrasonic flow measurement patterns and accuracy of the SlipMeter. The positive results from these studies were critically reviewed and approved during a Technical Council meeting at the Institute, earlier this month.
The SlipMeter has already received National Measurement Institute (NMI) Pattern Approval in Australia. Making the SlipMeter the first pattern approved undershot meter to received certification under the NMI-M-10 category of Meters Intended for the Metering of Water in Open Channels. In addition, during October we achieved another milestone for the product, installing the largest number of in-line SlipMeters in the history of the company.
This official acknowledgment out of Kazakhstan further highlights the reliability and precision of the SlipMeter, reinforcing Rubicon Water’s commitment to delivering innovative solutions that meet the highest international standards in water management. We look forward to further contributing to water management advancements in Kazakhstan and beyond.
