Rubicon Water has won the Governor of Victoria Export Award 2022 for Sustainability.
Over 250 guests were welcomed to a fantastic award ceremony hosted by Global Victoria to celebrate this year’s most accomplished exporters.
Presented by the Governor of Victoria, the Hon. Linda Dessau, Minister for Trade, Tim Pallas, and founder of Victorian Cleantech Cluster, Nigel Murphy. The Sustainability Award recognises outstanding international success in environmental solutions, clean energy innovation, materials and energy efficiency, renewable energy, waste and water management, green buildings, smart cities, and R&D collaboration.
Rubicon continues its international expansion with automated irrigation technology now present in 17 countries (covering 6 of the world’s 7 continents) – including operations in Chile, China, India, Italy, Spain and the United States. Rubicon’s technology is responsible for managing the distribution of water to approximately 1.5 million hectares of irrigated farmland and has been proven to increase water distribution efficiencies in open channel networks to around 90%. To date, more than 35,000 water measurement and control devices have been installed worldwide.
“This award represents the dedicated efforts of our entire global team in developing and delivering technology that supports sustainable outcomes for irrigated agriculture around the world.” Said Rubicon’s Marketing Manager, Jason Smith.
